Last Tuesday, November 12, we had the privilege of conducting a new Technology Pill in collaboration with HPE Aruba Networking, where we delved into how companies must prepare their networks to comply with NIS2 regulations and explored the most advanced technological solutions to ensure cybersecurity in an increasingly complex environment.
During the session, we were joined by Ángel De La Encarnación and Joan Serrat , Systems Engineers at HPE Aruba Networks, who guided us through a detailed analysis of the new requirements of the European regulatory landscape in terms of cybersecurity and how to apply zero trust best practices to ensure network protection.
NIS2 Compliance: Challenges and solutions with HPE Aruba Networking
The NIS2 Directive poses a significant challenge for organizations that must adapt their infrastructures to new security, data protection and business continuity standards. In this context, HPE Aruba Networking offers key solutions to meet these requirements through an intelligent and secure network architecture.
During the presentation, Angel de la Encarnacion, explained how HPE Aruba addresses this challenge through advanced solutions for network protection: Network-based Security (NSS), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Policy-based Network Access Control (NAC), and dynamic segmentation.
These technologies not only help organizations to comply with NIS2, but also optimize the security and efficiency of their networks.
During the presentation, it was also highlighted that, although some companies are not directly affected by NIS2, all should follow the cyber hygiene practices recommended by INCIBE, such as applying software updates, secure device configuration, network segmentations, user awareness, etc. These measures are key to protect against cyber threats, regardless of the size or sector of the organization.
Aruba Central: Network Management in the Cloud with Artificial Intelligence
One of the key highlights of the session was the unveiling of Aruba Central, the cloud-based network management platform for networks of any size. With Aruba Central, organizations can manage wired and wireless networks with cloud-native visibility, access control and unified infrastructure management with AI-powered automation.
This cloud-based approach not only improves security, but also centralizes network management, optimizes performance and facilitates proactive operations to efficiently resolve issues.
