ImVision
CommScope’s Automated Infrastructure Management (AIM) solution enabled attendees to see firsthand how this platform integrates software and hardware to monitor the physical network infrastructure in real time. The demo, led by Marcel Capafons, technician at Instel, showcased the platform’s capabilities for automatic detection and identification of IP devices, full traceability of physical connections, and visual integration through floor plans. It is a key solution for optimizing network management, enhancing security, and simplifying preventive maintenance.
VisiPORT
VisiPORT provides an automated and independent port monitoring solution, designed to enhance visibility and control over network infrastructure. With sensors integrated into intelligent panels compatible with standard patch cords, it enables real-time detection of any change in physical connectivity. Additionally, it includes per-port LED visual guides and generates automatic alerts for critical events, streamlining incident resolution, improving security, and simplifying operations in mission-critical environments such as data centers or multi-site facilities.
GigaREACH XL
This innovative structured cabling solution stands out for going beyond the traditional 100-meter limitation, reaching up to 250 meters with PoE of up to 90W. Based on Category 6A, with patented twisting and field-certifiable using FLUKE Networks tools, it offers a major advantage in installations where distance and device density present challenges. During the event, its capabilities were demonstrated live by powering AXIS 4K surveillance cameras—highlighting its robustness and versatility in demanding environments.
